 PARTS OF SPEECH

In language, all the words divided into some parts on the idea of their functions. These parts known as elements of part of speech. 

There are eight elements of speech .

1. Noun
2. Pronoun
3. Adjective
4. Verb
5. Adverb
6. Conjunction
7. Preposition
8. Interjection

(NOUN)

Definition, 

"A word, which provides names of someone, place, and things as known as noun".

                 (OR)

Any naming words are called Noun

(Examples)

The (sun) shines bright .....(thing)

(Ali) is sleeping..................(person)

where is (Pakistan)............(place)

(PRONOUN)

Definition

the words which used instead of noun is called  

pronoun. 

(Examples)

(He) is good student .

(she) is nice girl .

(it) my marker.

(I) am Ali.

(you) are my friend.

(we) are from this world.

(they) are my teachers

(ADJECTIVE)

Definition, 

adjective is a word which modify noun and pronoun is called adjective.

(Examples) 

He is a (brave) boy.

she is (beautiful).

they are (intelligent).

*VERB* 

Definition, 

a word which shows action or state is called verb. 

(Examples)

he is (washing) the car.

Asghar (studies) English.

Fahad is a (writing) articles.

*ADVERB* 

Definition, 

adverb is a word which modifies verb, adjective sometime another adverb is called adverb. 

(Examples)

she writes  (quickly).

he ride bicycle (fast).

Fahad speaks (fluently).

*PREPOSITION*

Definition, 

preposition is the word which shows the connection between two things or it indicates the relationship between two things or its shows the position of something is called  preposition.

(Examples)

the book is (on) the table.

the book is (in) the cupboard.

Cat is (under) the table.

*CONJUNCTION* 

Definition;

a conjunction is a world which is used to shows or to connect two words phrases or sentences is called conjunction.

(Examples)

Ali (and) Aslam are cousins. 

he is good (but) he come late. 

I ran fast, (however) lost the train.

*INTERJECTION*

Definition, 

An Interjection could be a word that expresses some sudden feelings;

(Examples)

Hurrah ! we tend to won the sport. 

Alas ! she is dead
